SNUB23 Games room interior
It isn’t often that a client fully commits to an idea, especially when you ask if you can transform their games room into a space ship, but we were lucky enough to have such a chance. What started as a single wall, ended up being an entire room. Due to the lock down the delay between concept and application was six long months.
After coming up with some initial sketches on the to help envision our design on the iPad it was time to create a concept for the games room interior which included colour as well as some SNUB flourishes like our Iconic Isometric cubes.
Early concept
After months of planning and delays due to the pandemic and lockdown we finally found a safe time to visit the family and start painting their dream Sci-fi games room. Once we had covered the carpets, skirting boards, doors and all other surfaces we wanted to keep clean in a thick layer of protective plastic, we started by outlining the “space ship windows” and layouts as well as filling in the walls and painting the radiators.
Each and every panel had to be meticulously positioned an painted into place, windows, space ship hatches and facets all carefully measured and designed to give the ultimate sci-fi aesthetic. Creating the space, planets and milky way designs was especially satisfying and a totally different style of painting to our usual crispy detailed stencils and sharp lined characters.
We also had a special request from the client to include one of our SNUB style robots which were a favourite of their youngest child. The “Twin Ion Engines” Star Wars Tie Fighter inspired character we chose for the room looked really effective against our main space window and added an extra dimension to the TV wall. We live streamed the painting of the character on Instagram which the family loved watching from the comforts of the sofa rather than the dust and paint filled room we were painting in.
The Completed Room
A slideshow of the whole completed room.
Close ups of details.
Both us and the clients were so happy with the end result, it came out even better than we could have ever imagined. Walking through the door and into the room was like being teleported onto a scifi film set. We couldn’t wait for the clients children to come home and start playing their computer games in it, feeling totally immersed in their new transformed room.

SMASH RACISM Graffiti Mural Hove Lagoon
STRONG WORDS REQUIRE VOLUME
Proud to be part of the team that was part of making this 150 ft smash racism Mural at Hove Lagoon, Brighton happen.
This graffiti mural was painted to send a very clear message that Racism of any kind will not be tolerated and we should be ashamed of a society where its even an issue. We all need to stand up against the disgusting acts we have seen from police forces, members of the public and governments all over the world. This cannot continue.
We cannot ignore it or stay silent. Action is the only way we can get change.
The most important thing we can is stand up to discrimination when we see it, whether that’s in the workplace, in public, online and so fourth. The colour of your skin should not effect your safety, your chance of employment or your quality of life.
Artist involved includes Aroe, Sprite, Skatin Chinchilla, Solveig Maseyk, Dj Format, Anna Barnfield, Eden Maseyk, Fox-Cat, Corekt, Reece Gayler & Danny Big Beach.
